Growing up in Kawambwa, I cherished the simple pleasure of having access to clean and safe drinking water from a well dug by father. Sadly, not everyone in my community had that luxury. I have witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of contaminated water on families, particularly young children like I once was. It's disheartening to think that despite the progress made in other parts of the world, this issue persists in my homeland.

Our Story

I founded a social enterprise called Global Empowers with a mission to improve living standards and bring clean, safe drinking water to underserved communities in Zambia. With guidance from Professor Jorg Imberger, Perth Rotary Club, and Coogee, our groundbreaking Water Does Matter project aims to revolutionize water access for rural villages. Our first water station in Chibwe village, a small community in Kawambwa district, Zambia, is currently supplying clean and safe drinking water to over 5000 community members.

Now, supported by the Ministry of Water and Sanitation in Zambia, we have an incredible opportunity to make this project a reality for more communities, and impact the lives of over 70,000 school pupils and 340,000 people in need. We are launching a crowdfunding campaign, and we are offering you the chance to make a lasting difference.
